Our Collections & Goal
We take our hobby very seriously. The most important aspects of our collecting, is the recording and the preservation of our Australian heritage for posterity and future generations. So much is now being lost to development and as the urban sprawl slowly invades sites that may uncover some relics of the past, we treasure the opportunity to record known examples. They form an important link to the social and environmental climate of yesteryear.
The evolution of shapes and closures, give us important insights into the trends and popularity of the various preparations that were marketed in these containers during the Victorian & Edwardian period.
